The platform allows you to download, at any time, a copy of the personal data it holds about you and about the people linked to your account. This service complies with the right to data portability provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is open to all users: parents, students, teachers, staff members, coaches…

Good to know: the screens presented in this article are the standard platform screens. Their appearance may vary depending on your profile and your school's settings.

Download your data

1. Click on your name, in the top right of the screen, then on More account settings… at the bottom of your account menu:

2. The Account settings page opens. Click on the Download my personal data button, in the top right of the page. On the Eduka Mobile app, this button is at the bottom of the page.

3. The platform prepares your archive, which may take a few moments, then the download starts. You will find a .zip file in your computer's downloads folder.

Remember: the archive may be protected by a password. If so, it will be displayed in the message confirming the download. Note it before closing this message: you will be asked for it when you open the archive and it will not be displayed again afterwards. If you have lost it, simply restart the download: a new archive is created with a new password.

Archive contents

The archive groups together your data and that of the people linked to your account that you are authorised to view, for example your children and the other guardian. It contains:

• an Excel file, with one tab per person and one tab for the family: you will find the information recorded on each record and, where it exists, the history of their changes;
• the identity photos of the people concerned;
• your billing documents (invoices, receipts…), if you have access to the Finance portal;
• the documents uploaded to the platform, grouped by type (passport, certificate…), where applicable.

Protect this file: the archive contains personal information about you and your family. Keep it in a safe place, do not share it, and delete it if you have downloaded it to a shared computer.

Privacy policy and your other rights

On the same Account settings page, the Data privacy section gives you access to the Privacy policy. It explains what data is collected, for what purpose and how long it is kept.

To have information about you corrected, completed or deleted, contact your school: it is the school that manages the data recorded on the platform.
